Does Power Query work on Mac Excel?
Power Query in Excel for Mac allows you to clean and shape your data from local files, SharePoint, SQL, as well as from tables and ranges.

You may now clean and shape your data with hundreds of transformations available in Power Query Editor in Excel for Mac. To access, on the Data tab, click the 'Get Data (Power Query)' button.

You need to use the Windows version to create queries. Since the beginning of 2019 you can refresh queries (to local files) on a Mac. Since a few months ago you can also refresh queries that connect to tables/ranges in the current workbook.
Because it's a subscription-based version, Microsoft 365, at any one time, contains all the available Power Query features.

- Go to the “File” tab.
- Go to the “Account” section.
- Here you will see the product version.
- Click on the “About Excel” button.
- In the screen that pops up, at the top you will either see 32-bit or 64-bit. Take note and download the correct Power Query add-in version accordingly.
In Excel, select Data > Queries & Connections, and then select the Queries tab. In the list of queries, locate the query, right click the query, and then select Load To. The Import Data dialog box appears. Decide how you want to import the data, and then select OK.
